Can anybody please help me find an EDWARD PLUMB born about 1794 in Flixton. His wife's name is ANN born about 1791 in Homersfield. I only know of one son at the moment named GEORGE born about 1823 in Bungay. I know ANN was living in Homersfield in 1861, I think she was widowed then. Thanks

Hi Sue,
This is going to be difficult one, I can tell already.
I know that Ann was alive in 1861, so I can only think that if this is the correct Edward, then she must have left him or he her. There isn't a George, but I suppose he could have died or moved away. Lots to think about.
Thanks so much for taking the time to look for me.
Regards, Joan

Hi Joan
You say Ann is alive n 1861, where was she in 1851 and if she was alive at 1861 census.
I see an Ann in 1851, born in Homersfield about 1792, but shes married to a James. You aren't getting them mixed up are you?
What were the names of the children of Edward and Ann?
Just spotted you only know of the one. :'(

Hi Sue,
I could have these completely incorrect, its a mixed up family. I have an EDWARD PLUMB married to an ANN MANN in 1817 in Bungay, and I only have the one child named GEORGE who was born about 1823. In 1861 I have an ANN PLUMB living in Homersfield and GEORGE living in Bungay but no sign of EDWARD. I'm trying to establish if this is the correct family and what happened to EDWARD. Hope that makes sense.
I don't, at the moment have a JAMES married to an ANN but he probably is one of mine that I have'nt come across yet.
Thanks for looking for me.

Well I think thats Edwards death, further up the thread.
I have looked at the 1851 and 61 for this Ann Plumb and I am 99 percent sure she is the wife of James. In 1851 there is a William Todd with them, listed as son of wife.
This James was born in Flixton.
