I cant seem to find him in 1901 :(

Hi Patrish
I wonder where on earth he can have got to. Jarrow on line has a street index for 1910 and there are two Robert Woods shown as householders but of course no means of knowing who they are. I wonder if there is a marriage for him
Thanks

Thanks,
Thought it might help to find him in 1901. :-\
Spoke to an engineer friend of mine who tells me a turner could work in metal similar to a Railway Sheetman, both being part of the engineering workshop, so the one I found in 1901 could be him but of course we have to prove it but we have so little to go on.
Found the marrige of that couple in Berwick 1893 but again, clutching at straws. ::) Her name was Jessie Hope Grant, does that ring any bells ???

I just dont know. There are 4 Robert Wood marriages on freebmd for that period in South Shields district and two Robert Wood householders in Jarrow in 1910 which leads me to suspect that he is still living locally.
