Title: Trevetts of Litton Cheney and Long Bredy
Post by: merrymoo on Sunday 19 October 08 13:55 BST (UK)
Can anyone get further back with Robert Trevett b abt 1650 and Mary? Son Thomas Trevett b 1687 in Litton Cheney.

Also Richard Trevett b 1626 Rowden Bridge, Dorset m. Martha? abt 1650

They are very well documented but no one seems to have got any further with Richard and Martha especially.

Sorry that Trevett, Trevitt that married Martha in approx 1650 was Robert also, his son was Richard Trevett, getting tied in knots with them ???

Hi,

Have you looked at the Litton Cheney page on www.opcdorset.com ?   There are marriage details from 1614-1812.

Yes, have been in touch with Valerie Pettifer, the OPC for Litton Cheney as well but nothing before Robert Trevett and Martha (unknown). Have looked at Long Bredy and Punknowle but nothing. Still will carry on regardless. Thanks for your input anyway :)

Hi I have just joined this site and wondered if there was any up to date information on the marriage of Robert Trevett and Martha of Litton Cheney. Also of Roberts birth. I couldnt get on the www.opcdorset.com site. Robert is my 9th Great Grandparent.
