Looking for Hutton-Cornish West Ham ???
-
Have you any dates. :)
-
Think the name was joined together 1903 there was some children wondering if surname still exists there
-
there's no hutton-cornish in west ham any more. whats left of us live in huddersfield and a couple of sisters in plymouth.
-
Give me a clue as too who you are, I was Hutton Cornish ::) :D :-\
-
Hi, my Grandfather was a Hutton Cornish, but he dropped the Hutton so now I am just a "Cornish". He moved to East Ham from Penzance.
-
your grandad could be part of my family history, do you have any other details
-
His name was Richard and I think his mother was called Janet. The family was quite well to do by all accounts. I have no paperwork as my Father threw everything out when He and my mum divorced.
-
Thats a shame
My previous name was from my marriage to my exhusband
He was Paul Hutton-Cornish and his mum Sarah Kemble who changed her name to Hutton-Cornish after we think an affair with John Hutton- Cornish (may have been a footballer and i think John was Richards Brother.
All of the above is hearsay but is all i have
I think Richards wife was called Ruby Lucas married 1920 2nd quarter
please remember some of the above may be not talked about in the family
-
Ruby Lucas was my grandmother, she lived with us until she died. I will have to dig out my dad's Birth Certificate
-
What a coincidence I am trying to complete the Hutton-Cornish family history for my daughter. The Hutton-cornish family name continues with Pauls son
-
Yes it is. Have you found out much about Richards ( and Johns) parents? I only started looking because I wanted to know if there were roots in Cornwall.
I do remember another younger brother being mentioned a bit. I'm sure he was called Harry (Henry?..)
I think Richard dropped the Hutton when he married Ruby. ( I would have quite liked to be double - barrelled!!!)
-
The Hutton-Cornish tree is on ancestry, although i have let my membership lapse i think you can still access, if you want to send my your email i will try and send you an invite

My mum said today that Richards Mother was Janet Hutton Brown( wrong way round). Apparently the children were brought up by a nanny and only saw their mother once a day- very Victorian-.

You're tree is really good. Typed a few names on google and came up with the Cornishes of Penzance who are direct descendants.
-
Glad to be of help, although i am only a Hutton-Cornish by Marriage, any further info or things that might be wrong please let me know
-
Thanks. That makes your ex husband and my Dad cousins.
-

-
Yes i suppose so, he has 5 children, including my daughter, his son John Francis carries the name on, if you want his email address i can ask for you
-
Hi, just out of curiosity I googled Paul's name. Half way down the page down there are some images(LinkedIn). There is a picture of a dark haired man In a blue shirt and blazer. He is the spit of my brother. Bit freaky really.
-
That is freaky, he does not have a lot of info as his mum didn't talk about it, and i am unsure when she changed her name. My daughter is Elizabeth Silkstone (nee Hutton-Cornish)
-
I'll see if I can get more out of my Mum, though she doesn't like talking about my Dads side much.
-
That would be great if she will talk about that side of the family
-
Hi. My name is Paul Huuton-Cornish. Did anyone know my father John? Surname may just have been plain Cornish with middle name Hutton?
-
Hi Paul long time no see
-
Hi Karen. How are you?
I decided it's about time I tried to do some tracing of family.
-
Fine thanks
-
Hi,
My Grandad was Richard Hutton Cornish. Does any one know of the Manor Park branch in Hemel Hempstead
-
Back again having another go would you or your mum know if john Hewitt martyn Cornish b1906 and john hutton-cornish B 1905 are the same person please
sorry to be asking again after several years
-
Hi ya.
I doubt it, thought the Hutton came from Janet. Prior to that I believe it was just Cornish. You dug up anything interesting?
