not sure anyone can do this but I would like to find the maiden name of Winifred M who married Alfred Nimmo, in Bradford, between 1946 and 1954.

No not on any census. Alfred DOB 21.10.1928 in Sunderland. Almost certain Winifred was born in Bradford around a similar time

apologies - I was reading the dates you were looking at as 1846-1854

Thanks think her father poss died and mother remarried but am totally not sure.
 I know she had a sister quite a lot younger than her and still living
