Title: ***COMPLETED POSTS***
Post by: sillgen on Saturday 22 November 08 21:36 GMT (UK)
If your topic has been completed, or is no longer relevant for any reason, it is helpful to let us know, so it can be moved to the Completed Requests board. This makes the unanswered and ongoing requests/discussions easier to find.

If the topic is completed within 24 hours of the initial post, please use the "Modify" button to add the word *COMPLETED* to the titles of your first and last posts on the topic.

Otherwise, please use the "Report to Moderator" button on the topic and send a message stating "Westmorland Board - Completed".

I've often wondered how you do this!!  :-[

Stupid question No. 1 - where is the 'modify' button?  ???

Look at the top of your post on the right hand side and you will see it.  Click it then change as required and then click Save at the bottom.    Very useful if you make mistakes and only notice them as you click Post!

Thanks Andrea - I think I've got it! Doh!  :-[

I was getting confused that not every post had a modify button, but of course that option is presumably only open to the originator.

Just a little more info - If you modify the title in the  first posting, the thread title will change to that title on the board summary. If you modify any other posting title, it won't.

It helps we lookers up as well  :D

Thanks Gadget - so that's the one to go for if you want to show that a thread is complete.

Gotcha!  ;D
