Hi there
Welcome to Rootschat.... :D
This sounded all VERY exciting!! Free Indexes to so many things.
But I just went and had a look at the site you've promoted in this post and in others....
Am I missing something :-\ I don't see what's free, apart from the list itself?
Then if I see an item on a list I like - I gather I then can freely choose to buy it.
I also can't figure out what I might gain by registering - and why, on the Registration page it has this instruction:
'Tools at the top of explorer, Click 'Internet Options', click 'Privacy', then bring the slider down one notch to 'Low', click 'Apply'
Cheers

The only thing free is a list you pay to view. A waste of space
-
Everything is FREE on that site
Register & Find out simple really
;D

I think about this site has been aired before.
There is stuff listed on here,eg. the Suffolk marriages ,I have on cd and which I had to purchase.
As far as I can see any downloads have to be paid for.
As has already been said, a waste of space.

Good for anyone in Wales. It all seemed FREE to me.
As someone with about 50%+ Welsh roots, I'm not sure about that at all. A few bits and pieces that are available mostly for free. AND when I clicked on the Welsh marriage bonds link - which have been available for free on the National Library of Wales site for many years (transcribed and indexed by a volunteer who is known to me) - I get the message shown below.
I bought some census CDs (Denbighshire and Merionethshire) from this organisation a few years ago.

(sorry Valda and Dawn for bringing Wales into London & M but think it's maybe relevant)

I suspect they may have problems, over there. I'm already registered, but when I went in, just now, to have another look around ... I got an error message that said my account was inactive. :(

Once you have logged on with the login [guest] & Password [guest], you can view as long as you like, but if you leave the site with 20 minutes of inactivity you will have to logon again, with the same password etc as above.
;D
