Hi ,
Can somebody please help me decipher the address on this draft registration card. I finally found my great uncle in america after months of searching but can't read his address or his employers address.
Any Ideas?
Thanks

Hi Ange
Is the image saved to your hard drive after scanning?
Is the size of the image less than 100kb (look in properties)
If you can answer 'yes' to the two questions above - write new message, click the attach box below the message, select the image by clicking on it twice - its address should then appear in the attach box - then post
See, dead easy

With just a quick glance I'm tempted by "Camp Niag Falls"?

Any ideas on this one?

Looks like Niagara Falls again to me. I can't zoom in on the image in work - no software. I can't read the first word looks like "Lemon Dr" or "known As" to me?

A quick "google" found this blurb:-
Electro Metallurgical Company (Niagara Falls, New York), a subsidiary of Union Carbide, was the MED's largest ore-to-metal uranium production plant. From 1942 to 1953, the plant processed uranium tetrafluoride (green salt) into uranium metal. The plant was also called the Union Carbide and Chemical Electro-Metallurgical Division Works.
This must be the company that the card refers to.
Cheers,
Pam
