hello all I am looking for any information on Thomas Sterne born Co Carlow 1860 (parents would be wonderfull) I know he married Elizabeth Tackaberry date and location unknown. Can anyone help me please.

I typed 'Sterne Carlow' into the search engine and Genfourm has a section on Sterne Carlow. Mabye give that a shot.
Also had a look in 'Carlow Town' roots, but no Sterne there.
Found a Sterne in Wexford; 1901
Market st (7)
Sterne Richard & Mary; Eileen. (shopkeeper)
also a Thankaberry;
Killagoley (part of) (2)
Thackaberry William & Eliza; Willim, Robert, Eliza, Foster, Herbert
(both in Enniscorthy)

Church Baptism Sterne Mary Anne 1866 Co. Cavan
possible brother and sister?? (yet more questions) mary anne is daughter of thomas sterne and rachel beaty.
am i in the wrong county???

the only member (male) that i can find who did not go to canada was francis b.1796 he had a son john b.1825 thats all i have on hin. all my efforts backwards and forwards lead me to dead ends so far.

Elizabeth died 1926
children found so far
Richard married to Mable Claridge married Carlow jul-sep1929 vol 3 page 275 (richard born in Waterford)
there children Elizabeth E (*) and Richard T born (*) there may be more?
Thomas Sterne born 1890 died 1961 married Harriett Taylor born 1893 died 1950 (dublin) (my grandparents)
they married 1920 dublin south apr-jun
the rest to present is easy its the going back
they seem to keep jumping around ireland.
has anyone any thoughts on what path i should take next?
i have been stuck here for a few years now.

I'm not sure if you'll get this, but Harriet Taylor & Thomas Sterne were the parents of my grandmother, Ethel Sterne.
I'd be so interested to see how far you've been able to trace. I'm coming up a little short in a few areas.
