I got the info from the older children from Samuel Spencer's bible

Jemima born 1873
not a mension of his first wife so I presumed[wrongly that all of them were Sarah's

I had a quick look but couldn't see any childrens baptisms :(
I can't get the details of Samuels marriage to Sara as it was a Civil marriage.

yes that is Samuels first marriage [I dident know he had been married befor]
Samuel Spencer [from his bible ] was born 24/1/1836 father Edward Spencer mother Grace so the age fits and it would seem non of this family could write as Jemima Spencer his daughter also made her mark X when she married William Francis I wonder why Samual never pu his wife in the bible ?

the above is from the 1881 census office Row Trimdon Durham England
Jemima married William Francis he was born hollywell Flint 23/7/1870 .marriage was in 1891 in Durham but I can not him on 1881 census nor can I find either of the on 1891 from the birth of the first son Thomas William Francis born 9/9/1893 in Hollwell they must have returned to Wales for several years returning again to Durham 1905
