Owen Elias came to liverpool with two of his brothers one was Edward Elias, then there was William Elias. William O Elias was married to Martha Williams in 1870 martha father was William William the first welsh town councillor of Liverpool. Fascinating story!

On today's map, just west of the streets:
Espin
Askew
Linton
Frodsham
Ripon
Emery
Dyson

there are a set:
Oxton
Winslow
Eton
Neston

Andrew
Nimrod
Dane

Wilburn
Ismay
Lind
Lowell
Ismay
Arnot
... and then nothing. Are we missing a M-street? ;)

Perhaps there are more! I shall keep a look out when I look at street names now.

The Times, Saturday, Jan 14, 1888; pg. 11; Issue 32282; col F
 Election Intelligence
Liverpool (Walton Division)
Mr J. G. Gibson had left his seat, and the Gladstonians had asked Owen Elias, builder, to become a candidate, but he declined.

 - search for the phrase Elias, William Owen and there's information on his bankruptcy in 1889.

Hello there :)
Im relatively new to this site.
And came across this page on a google search.
The name Owen Elias jumped out at me, so did Liverpool.
My name is Emma Elias, im 17, and i live just outside Glasgow.
But, my greatgrandfather, who is 88 at the moment, Peter, was born in liverpool.
And our family tree has been researched back to 1674 in Wales :)
So i think we might be related somehow :)
If you want more details let me know, because i have alot of them :)

For some reason, your email was removed, probably because of moderators etc.

The email address was removed for the same reason as I've just removed details of all the living relatives in your post. Rootschat isn't a forum for tracing living people but it's noce when relatives do find each other. If you want to exchange email address, recent family details,e tc. please do so by PM (personal message) rather than on the boards.
