Ive tried taking numerous photos of this stone from all different angles but cant get it any better than this.
Is anyone brave enough to have a go with what it says?
Moderator Comment: image deleted, as it was returning an "Unsupported JPEG Compression" error message.

Is this viewing properly with anyone else? Its not for some reason here. Don't know why. It's under 500k. :'(

Hi!
no, it won't open. When I tried to open it I got an error message.
Perhaps you should try re-posting it.

Im when I save a picture as a jpg. I need to save using Standard encoding not Lossless. Rootschat has a hissy fit because it cant understand how its encoded.
Bit like me not understanding what the headstone says!

Hi Vasquez,
I have played with your image to try to make it more readable, and think it may say
Elizabeth.................
George Full.............. [which might be Fuller]

If you can visit the stone, it might be worth trying to take a rubbing from it. Either that or do what the Egyptologists do to read the hyrogliphs. Use a bright torch and shine it sideways on so that the carved letters form a shadow.

Sorry, I cannot decipher it but if you can visit the stone again try wetting it. Sometimes that makes the images easier to see.

p.s. Good Luck!
