My direct ancestor Jenny Boreman b 1752 married James Lansdell in 1772 in Rolvenden.I think her parents were Nathaniel B and Sarah (nee White) who married in Goudhurst. The family seem to have a lot of Rolvenden connections and I am trying to go further back. I have theLansdells goingwell back buit am stuck on the Boremans.
Any help greatly appreciated

Baptisms Rolvenden
Children of Nathanial & Sarah BOREMAN
16th Jun 1745 Elizabeth
29th November 1749 William
There are quite a few Boorman/Boreman/Borman/Bourman baptisms, but I can't see one for Nathanial, although the transcriptions are 'with gaps' but no indication of what years are missing.

Hi everyone,
There is some confusion on my part as to who Jane's father is. There are records to show Nathaniel Boreman and also William Boreman but none is conclusive. Nathaniel and William could be one and the same person but there is nothing I can find to prove that either. Does anyone have any info on this please?

I'm a descendant of Zachariah Boreman and Sarah Burnett. I believe that this Zachariah is one and the same person who is the famous landscape painter who worked at the Royal Derby Porcelain factory during the late 18th century. He died in 1810.
Does anyone know if there is a connection with the family discussed above or any other family. I'm struggling to determine the parentage of Zachariah. It seems he was born in Aldersgate in London.
Thanks
Steve
