I am looking for William HALE and his wife Judith born 1796ish in Hertfordshire.
Their daughter Elizabeth HALE christened 8 July 1832 Reed, Hertfordshire married Patrick CONNOR at St Andrews, Union Road, Cambridge on 16 Apr 1855.
William's occupation as per the daughter's marriage certificate is husbandman.
Thanks

Hi bhunter,
Was it the census information you were looking for .. I can see both William and Judith in 1841 .. with Elizabeth as a nine year old .. ?
Kind regards,
Pels.

Census information would be excellent.
I don't know how to go about finding marriage info for Judith and William as they are not on LDS.
Thanks

Herts marriage index has the following record:
Banns for - William Hale & Judith Martin of Reed at Buckland on 1 Jun 1811.
If William was born 1796ish this may not be his marriage as he would have been abt 15 at the time. Maybe he was older than first thought :-\

This made me look twice Di .. if the census details in 1841 were rounded down to such a degree .. and William was in fact 54 and Judith 49 this would slot her age in nicely with the later returns.
Meaning Judith could have been approx 1792 and William as early as 1787.
So therefore William may have been 24 when they married, is this making any sense .. ?

Thanks very much to everyone :)

Have you had a look at the site therfield.net particually the Rev. Hales pedigrees. There is a william Hale listed but I am not sure if he is yours. But you may find it a very interesting site.
