i have found  an arrival date back to the uk from south africa for my g grandfather who was visiting his daughter,
but cant find out when they actually left. 
the date of arrival in the uk is 5 apr 1928
but could anyone tell me when they left for south africa pls...

the name is john arnold and marianne arnold..

Do you have the name of the 1928 ship that they returned on as it is easier to search for outgoing with some idea of birthdate.

I can see a John and Marianne Arnold arriving back 10th June 1935 from South Africa, giving a Staffordshire address and he is a Merchant.  Is this the same couple?
