Title: Devon Online Parish Clerks - free assistance
Post by: DOB7 on Tuesday 28 April 09 22:17 BST (UK)
Just to let everyone know that, with the cooperation of GenUKI/Devon there is a volunteer look-up resource known as Devon Online Parish Clerks which offers researchers free assistance in over 190 ancient Devonshire parishes. Simply go to http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/eng/DEV/OPCproject (http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/eng/DEV/OPCproject) New link 2016 to see if your parish of interest is covered.
Alternatively, if you would like to volunteer to adopt one of the remaining parishes, please follow directions on the website, or reply to me here.

Happy Hunting,

Deborah O'Brien
