Do you think that Hasquin could be mistaken for Faustin?
-
Hi Dismo :)
Stranger things have happened but it is a bit dificult to pass comment without knowing what makes you think this. Was it an image you've seen or a transcription?
A litle more info might help us to decide :)

In 1851 census Faistin said he was born in Huntspill, he is not in the registers there
Hasquin was born in Bridgwater four miles away so could be same person
-
where have you got Hasquin - on another census ? Cert ?
-
parish register transcript for bridgwater online
-
Is something strange happening ::)
The last few messages are the same as those on the other thread that I gave the link to:

Thanks Gadget :)
Dismo - I'm sorry but I still cannot comment, the only suggestion I have is to try and see if someone has access to the original register to see if it has been transcribed wrong and then you will know for certain. Although Hasquin is not showing he could have died before any census.
I'm having the same trouble trying to find baptisms for my ancestors - maybe he wasn't baptised. :-\
