I'm looking for any information about David Jones born Bala 1797. He was a shoemaker and married Ellinor Davies from Llanwddyn in 1822. He was living at Tyn y ffordd. Dyffwd in the township of Cwmllech and parish of Pennant. I would like to find his baptism record and anything about his parents and family.
Thanks
Liz

Hi Liz
I missed this one. I have the baptism records for Lanycil, the parish in which Bala is situated. I'll check up for you. It might take a while with a David Jones though :-\

and
25 March 1798 son of David Jones and Gwen. Abode - Llidiarde

I see that on the 1841 they had a son David, aged 18 which might suggest the later baptism is the more likely.
Do you have all their children's names?
