He died leaving annie with three boys .. she then moved to arklow in co wicklow and married a patrick kenny and they had further children.. we know a bit about her life up here in arklow but little about her life in cork and very very little about david leahy himself.. We think his father was Michael Leahy... and they were friends of michael collins and david leahy was related to the hales family cousins we think ... can anyone help us please with some information

My grandmother was named Annie Kenny
Named after her mother Annie Kenny who was married to a Patrick Kenny both moved to anderston glasgow scotland in the early eighteen hundreds from Ireland.
Patrick had brothers... Patrick worked as a stevedore on the docks.

This looks like David’s birth - looks like he had a twin called William.

Possible death in Bandon Reg district in 1869 for Ellen Leahy age 44 ( corresponds with death of last two children).
John ( b1865) looks to have married Ann Crowley in 1904 (Cork). He was a National Teacher. He died 1918.
Daniel seems also to have been a teacher. Died in 1891 age 21, informant his father Patrick.
William ( twin of David) died in 1890 age 26. Father Patrick was informant.
