Hi Annie

This sounds exciting.

The main one I'm looking for on here is for a friend, I'll pm you, long stories and so many variations.  I'm hoping seeing an inscription might give me another one.

My own main one, I've realised despite the long posts, I havesn't actually given all the details we have on William Diggle.  I will pm you and the otthers involved doing researcjh & post them, but must go off now.  Lokks like a great project thougjh.  I'll look at your details later and get back.

Good luck with it.

The only time I have seen the doors open is at Sunday service, but I don't think it is the right time to go taking any pictures.

I have found the home address of the Reverend - I will drop him a note (feel bit cheeky just knocking on his door), to see if we can get access to the church.

Just found this thread !

I'd be interested to know if there are any Stubbs or Walmsleys on any memorial there ...

... and I guess if the church is always locked, then check outside on the notice board for the time of services, and be there on a Sunday approx 3/4 hour after the service time stated, and shoot in as the people start to come out !   Better ask the minister for permission to take pics ...

GOOD LUCK !!

I walked threw the church yard today to Find Sarah's stone half gone. I do hope nothing happens to the war grave.

Miss her so much  :'( :'( :'(

In a roundabout way it was me that caused the thread as I happened to mention to Annie I had a booklet commemorating the soldiers from Christ Church and she created a website:

I loved working with Annie on the Prince of Wales Volunteers site as my grandfather was with them. http://www.powv.webs.com/

Also miss Tony H who worked at Gorton Monastery, between them they created this great site. http://www.freewebs.com/liverpoolannie/
