In 1891 census I am looking for Henry Aaron 69, wife Elizebeth70, and family if still alive.
In 1881 they were at the Crown and Anchor Inn in Hylton Road, Worcester
Any information would be most welcome

Many Thanks ec, you have hit the nail firmly on the head! The parents were certainly dead by then as I had assumed.
Thank you again,

i think I sent you duff information in a PM last night......That William is the wrong one......It looks like the one EC told you about, not the 18
year old.
I have just had a quick look....no one else that could be him (28) in
1901...unless he is mis-transcribed. HAVE to go to work now...will
look again later...
Kind regards

hi Jeannie,
I think you were right and the age transcribed wrong, it should have been 16. The one that ec mentioned is a different one, ten years older but in the same family group.
Thanks for your perseverance

I was right....It was transcribed as Baron, but have looked at original census form....and it is Aaron..
WILLIAM H AAron (Baron) Head age 26 born Stourbridge Labourer
SOUREN wife age 25 born Stourbridge
Flora M (Baron) dau age 6 born "
Boris L son age 2 born "
Fred (Baron) son age 5 months
The address is very unclear, but looks like "Gig Mill" Upper Swinford
Worcestershire.
Hope this is what you were looking for.
Kind regards

Search Engines are wonderful things!!!
It was Gig Mill...apparently a road name.
If you want to obtain some certificates..

Jeannie,
Superb stuff, I knew William was still in that area as I had found him on the 1901 index. This afternoon I found the wedding of his son Fred in Nuneaton in 1924 and now you have confirmed his year of birth.
William's sister came to Nuneaton and married here in 1896 after answering an advert. for a childminder/housekeeper and obviously through her William and his family moved to Nuneaton for work in or around 1910 and three further children were born including a set of twins in 1915!
Thank you for all your help, you have been tremendous,
Al

It was my pleasure....I am so addicted, if I can't find my relatives,
I would rather find someone elses'....
This site is one of the best things that has happened to me..and I am not a sad person...in the modern meaning of the term...just some one who is putting her own interests first, instead of every one elses, for the first time in over 40 years.....I love it!!
Best wishes
