I am researching the Pennington family in Ellel. I have got as far back as 1785 with the birth of John Pennington (farmer). I think he had brothers called Thomas (born 1784) William (1789/1791) and Richard (born 1783/1786). I can't find anything out from the IGI and as I am unable to visit the Lancashire Records Office, I can't access the Parish records for eirther Ellel or Cockerham. Can anyone offer any help?
