also a step brother david lambie born abt 1836 married margaret jeffrey arrived 1861 on ship oithona .

Unfortunately, Larkie, Alexander's record on the Victorian Death Index does not give his place of death, just his age and the year of his death, which you obviously have.
There are a lot of children born to David Lambie and his wife Margaret Jeffery. Do you have these details or would you like them?

I do have some of davids children.i think there should be twelve i have some births but not much on marriages or deaths. david was 2nd great grand uncle of my wifes uncle, who i am doing the tree for ,he is 84 yrs of age .

This family are showing on 1841/51 census for Stevenson. No sign of an Alexander Lambie with them. If he was a stepbrother he may have been born Alexander Kilpatrick or Susan may have been married before.

Bearing in mind that Arthur's first wife died at Stawell and as a railway employee Arthur may have moved his place of employment frequently.

Arthur Lambie, of Murtoa, was charged at the Police Court on Wednesday day last with being in possession of military clothing-namely, an overcoat.
He stated in his defence that he was ignorant of the fact that it was against I the law to have military clothing in his possession. He was fined £3.
