Post by: Trisha on Saturday 05 March 05 21:29 GMT (UK)
Hi,
can anyone find this person for me on the 1891 and/or 1901 census?

Ann Timms-born 1843-Marston Mortaine-unmarried-occ ,possibly a Housekeeper.

Many thanks,

Hi Joe,
yes that's her.
Many thanks.I've been looking for her for ages.
Just got to find her on the 1901 census now or when she died in between 1891 and 1901.
Best wishes,
Trisha :) :) :) :) :)

Hi Trisha

How's this for a long shot ?  ;) 8)

As I found no Ann Timms on 1901 census, & no death in FreeBMD, I checked all the Ann's b 1843 +/- 2 yrs b. Marston, Beds. Got an ANN FENSOME age 59 wife of THOMAS age 69 Ag.Lab  b Astwood Bucks, living in Astwood.
Census entry RG13/1364 :  Newport Pagnell :   Olney  ED16 Folio: 95

Cross checking for marriages on FreeBMD found ANNE & THOMAS reg.district Newport Pagnell vol 3a page 1293. Sept 1894

Could this be your missing person ?  :)

regards John

Hi John,
now thats very interesting.
I did at one time trawl through the death reg for 1891-1901 and only found 1 relevant entry for an Ann Timms(age) and that was in Newcastle??? What on earth would she be doing there? Not a very likely candidate.Mind you I could have missed he ron the death reg list. Your eyes do go a bit funny after looking at those death reg on the computer-lol.
Thanks for all the work you did on this. You never know .It might be her.I shall definately keep it in mind and if I can check it I most definately will.I 'll let you know the outcome when I eventually look.
Best wishes
Trisha.
