Good Evening, I am hoping that some one will be able to help me obtain a photograph of a WW" grave interred in Douglas Cemetery.
The casulty is Fusillier Jospeh Philips, location Block N.F. Grave 17.
Fusilier Philips originated from my home town of Widnes, and is part of a project to research all of the WW2 casualties
Any additional information would also be greatfully appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Phil

if it is the wording you want then try either Manx Museum enquiries@mnh.gov.im or post on
http://www.isle-of-man.com/cgi-bin/interests/genealogy/bulletin/index.pl?noframes;
where one researcher has all MI's - there is often a Douglas based poster on that board who has in past been willing to photo graves - the museum might also have a photo as a researcher is putting together a full list of all military connected graves and war memorials on Island
from my list (see manxnotebook) PHILLIPS, Private Joseph A., Machine Gun Corps killed on March 23rd 1918. — 29 Prospect Hill, Douglas. - from Official IoM RoH Joseph Ambrose killed in action

Whoops got carried away, but if you post a request on said cemetery I'm sure they will oblige. I have been lucky. You could leave a message for P F Wilson who created the entry for Joseph.
