Hi
Can anyone help me? i am trying to find information on the Loveridge family from Bedfordshire, i have names, dates, and places but i can't seem to fit the pieces together.
I am looking for any info from about 1800 to about 1950, i know the names of my ggrandparents Thomas & Susan Loveridge, i think her maiden name was Parker and they were married in 1851. If anyone is researching the Loveridges i would love to hear from you.

Hi,
I almost forgot if I remember correctly from a newspaper report one of the Loveridges and her partner a Smith and thier children live at Cadwin Fields in Willingham (Cambridgeshire).
I,m not 100% sure but I think they are related to the Bedfordshire Loveridges.

Hi
For some reason the Loveridge family are difficult to trace, although they were and still are a big travelling family there don't seem to be a great deal of info available especially on the Bedfordshire Loveridges which i'm directly related to, i would assume that no matter whereabouts in the country the different Loveridge families are based they are all in some way related.
I would be really interested to hear from anyone who knows anything about the following;
Thomas Loveridge born abt 1823 in Lavendon Bedfordshire
Susan Loveridge born abt 1825 North Crawley Bedfordshire
CHILDREN;
Selina Loveridge born abt 1856 Flamstead Hertfordshire
Emmanuel Loveridge born abt 1858 Rawley Huntingdonshire
Riley Loveridge born abt 1860 Preston Huntingdonshire
Susan Loveridge born abt 1862 Clapham Bedfordshire
Thomas Loveridge born abt 1868 Clapham Bedfordshire
Tryphena Loveridge born abt 1871 Clapham Bedfordshire

Hi
It would be nice to confirm whether Thomas & Susan Loveridge are indeed my gggrandparents, on the census for 1871 and working back their ages they would have been born around the early 1820s but i came across a marriage in Tilsworth Bedfordshire between a Thomas Loveridge & Susan Parker in april 1851, the trouble is their ages are both 19yrs on the marriage certificate which would suggest they were both born around the early 1830s. It would be lovely to think i have my gggrandparents marriage certificate but i'm a little troubled over the age discrepancy, i do know that ages of individuals did vary when transcribed and also ages were altered for purposes of marriage etc etc.

Hi
All of my family come from the Bedfordshire/ Cambridgeshire areas and are all Smiths,Parkers,Loveridges and possibly Bucklands, i would love to find some old photos of the Loveridges from Bedford including my ggreat mother Susan Loveridge who married Aaron Smith from Cambridge.
I see you mentioned Willingham, i had a cousin who lived over at Willingham in a caravan up until her death in 1994, her name was ' Tiny ' Smith and she was 85 yrs when she died, i have a whole load of family still living in the Cambridge area, i know ' Tiny ' had siblings two of which were named ' Brummy ' Smith and Minnie May who was known as 'Dickie '.
I have got some photos of the Loveridges but to be honest i'm not sure who a lot of them are.
Cheers

The beds Loveridges are my folk too. Although not directly connected as far as i know to thomas and susan, 3 of there daughters married 3 of my great gran's brothers. My ancestors are Israel Loveridge and Eliza Parker who's dad was also a Loveridge. They are my 2x great grandparents.
Which of Thomas and Susan's children are you descended from.

Afternoon, I am related to Thomas and Susan's daughter Tryphena born 1871 in bedford and she died in 1952 in hertfordshire. Tryphena would have been my 2 x great grandma, her daughter Susannah is my great nan and her daughter Phoebe was my Nan, The side of the family your from is on Susannah's husband's Israel's ( familiar name lol) side.
-

-
Yeah, think we would be. My Mum is Angela, her mum is/was Phoebe.
