Hi
Would someone be so kind as to look up Margaret Salkind living in Morris, New Jersey in 1920 and 1930. She was born in Ireland in about 1851. I am interested to see if her husband David is still alive (I know Margaret was still alive in 1930).
Thank you very much
Tara

Margaret was a widow as of 1920. You can see a partial transcription of the census record here: http://labs.familysearch.org/
1920 Census, Morristown, New Jersey, 127 Morris St.
Salkind, Margaret, head, rents home, female, white, age 67, widowed, immigrated 1867, naturalized by marriage, able to read & write, born Ireland, father born England, mother born Ireland, no occupation

1930 Census, Morristown, New Jersey, 44 Morris St.
Salkind, Margaret, head, rents home for $50, owns a radio set, female, white, age 79, widowed, age at 1st marrage - 22, b. North Ireland, father b. England, mother b. North Ireland, immigrated 1895, naturalized, no occupation
Also on the same page at 40 Morris St. are David H. Salkind, age 26, born New Jersey, father b. England, mother b. Denmark and Hampton M. Salkind, age 56, born Jersey, father b. England, mother b. North Ireland, along with their wives. If David is a relative, I found an article from 1934 stating that he died in a plane crash in Florida.

Miami, Oklahoma Daily-Record, 21 May 1934 (versions of this article also show up in other papers)
Fort Lauderdale, Fla., May 21 (AP) - A man believed to be David H. Salkind of Morristown, N.J., and an unidentified woman were killed today when their airplane crashed near here. An airplane license and a medical prescription found in the man's pockets contained the name of Salkind.

In case you haven't seen it, there is also a transcription of David's death certificate at the Family Search Labs site.
