Title: Miss Pat's Players, Fordingbridge
Post by: Lillith on Saturday 07 November 09 17:16 GMT (UK)
I am trying to find out as much as I can about Daphne St George Alix Sefton Pattinson nee Toms. 1895 - 1976. Born in London but lived in Fordingbridge from about 1946 until her death. She was a dancing teacher and produced shows in Fordingbridge. She also ran a concert party for adults. I have had contact with several people who attended her dancing classes but I would like a photo of her and any information.Back numbers of the local papers have accounts of the shows but nothing about her. She was the widow of John Pattinson who dies in the First War and her only son John died during he Battle of Britain.

It's awhile since you posted, but I'm wondering if you found the information that you were looking for on Daphne Pattinson. She was my 4th cousin twice removed. I do have information.

I found this. The reply below the first post is from someone who attended St. Pat's.  Maybe you could contact them on the site.   https://www.francisfrith.com/uk/fordingbridge/fond-memories-of-fordingbridge_memory-382721
