I Have traced the marriage of George Collins to Susanna Thompson on 30 July 1758 at Kingswinford Staffs. I have been unable to find his birth,
Does anybody have access to the parish records for Kingswinford for this period and is able to see if his birth parish is mentioned please. any info would be a help Thanks

Was he definitely born in Kingswinford?
I have looked on LDS and couldn't find one born between 1700 and 1750 in Staffordshire.

Death....George Collins buried 5 May 1800 age 72 ,Brierley hill.

There is also a George Collins 1776 to George & Susannah, christened 28th February also Kingswinford.

Thank you both for the replies, I now have what looks like most of the children. With regard to George Collins Snr I have no definite birth location for him or his wife Susanna Thompson but it is possible that Kingswinford is her parish. I just wondered if the PR may give a clue.

The IGI has a Susannah Tompson born in Bilston...... 4 July 1736 Parents John and Mary...!

George Collins of Old Swinford appears to have married a Mary Cox 14 Aug 1757 at Old Swinford and produced about 9 children, but at least I can rule him out . Thanks for the suggestion.
