Title: Descendants of Edwardsons of Leith

A Norwegian relative is interested in contact with descendants of or information about the following family:
Carl Johan Edvin Edvardson, born 1869 in Norway, married Grace Sneddon Lindsay in Leith in 1892. He was known as Charles Edwardson in Scotland. He died in Leith in 1908 of pulmonary tuberculosis. The couple had the following children, possibly more:
Christian (Christine) Lindsay Edwardson born Leith 24/09/1897
Margaret Edwardson born Leith 30/08/1899
Jane Edwardson born Leith 13/08/1901
Edward Edwardson born Leith 1/08/1903
James Edwardson born Leith 1/10/1905
Charles was a ship's carpenter, occupation given as a furniture dealer in 1901.

The 1921-22 Post Office Directory for Leith includes the following:

John Edwardson & Son, Electrical Engineers 34 Albion Road (h/a 11 Albion Place)
Samuel Edwardson, Wine & Spirit Merchant, 19 Sandport street (h/a 33 East Claremont Street)
Thomas Edwardson, Grocer, 190 Easter Road (h/a 1 Annandale street)

I'm sure there was a grocer called Edwardson on Southfield Loan in the 1960s, but all the shops there were turned into flats in the late 1970s

How can I find information about my grandfather's Norwegian family?   He was born in Norway on 1st December, 1869.   His name is Karl Johan Edvin Edvardsen and I think he was born near Oslo.   He obviously came to Leith where he married. Grace Sneddon Lindsay in 1892' had five chlldren and died in 1908.   Can anyone help me?   Jean Hamilton
