Here is the marriage
Jan/Feb/Mar 1924
Falmouth ref 5c 251
Violet M Rowe / Thomas L Evans
A marriage cert would hopefully give their fathers names.

From FreeBMD
Possible birth -
Thomas Leslie Evans
Oct/Nov/Dec 1902
Falmouth 5c 127
birth cert would give parents names and enable family to be looked for on 1901 census

Good luck with the Rowe side - very common name in Cornwall (there's only, oh, six Violet May Rowe entries in the 1911 census living in Cornwall - one is in Falmouth but that's no promise of anything).
A combination of marriage certificate and then http://www.1911census.co.uk/ should take you back another generation.

Thanks for that.
Have already managed to find
Violet May Rowe born in St.Austall
Marriage to Thomas Leslie Evans, but after that she has disappeared, have photo of her on the beach with my cousin about 1955. I know she never moved far from where she was born, cannot find her death date anywhere.
going back their parents are
William James Rowe and Louisa Eleanor Wedlake married in St.Austall
Children Mary and William
going back to
William Wedlake and Martha Stevens
As I am a novice to this, what I cant get my head around is where to find all the dates and how to set it out, I have so many names and bits of paper
