Hi John,

Welcome to the forum.

As I'm sure you are aware the post you responded to is 13 years old and the author redkop was last active on the site in July 2022, so you may not get a response. As you can't send a pm to redkop until you have made 5(?) posts, I've taken the liberty of pming him on your behalf, in the hope that he will get an email notifying him about the pm.

Hi, thanks Andy  :)

Hello John, thank you for contacting me. I have been researching my family tree for many years. My surname before marriage was McLennan. James Cecil McLennan is of interest to me because he features in my tree. His father John McLennan is the brother of my great grandfather George McLennan.

At the moment I am trying to contact relatives who may be connected to my tree too and if interested in ancestry hopefully swap information.

Redkop :)
