Ive come across a marriage between Alexander Gifford and Elizabeth pope 1676. i want to know if Alexander Gifford is baptised there.

Apparently not. The first Gifford bapt is 26 Aug 1677 Jo'n s of Alexander. They don't seem to have baptised any more children there either.
The 1676 marriage is the earliest mention of Gifford at St. Peter and St. Paul, Fen Stanton.

There is this one at Dry Drayton (in the right direction):
Jan 2? 1653 Allexsander Gifford
No parents given unfortunately
There were several couples baptising children there around that time, one of which was Alexander and Jana.

sorry to trouble you again, on the igi a couple of people have Alexander Gifford born about 1625 in dry drayton is this true

There are soooo many Giffords plus variants at Dry Drayton!
There is a bapt 6 Oct 1622 Alexander son of Joshua and Joane. Can't see a marriage for them.
