Hi
Hope this helps:
The family appears to have moved to West Bromwich, Staffordshire between 1872 and 1875
William Carr married Louisa Dickens 17/5/1871 at Mursley, Buckingham and in 1881 they were living at 10 Hargate St, West Bromwich:
William CARR Head M Male 37 Padbury, Buckingham, England Malster
Lousia CARR Wife M Female 36 Mursley, Buckingham, England
William CARR Son Male 9 Mursley, Buckingham, England Scholar
Albert E. CARR Son Male 6 W B, Stafford, England Scholar
Ann CARR Daur Female 3 W B, Stafford, England
There is no trace of William (Senior) or Louisa on 1901 census
There was another brother, John christened 2/4/1854 who married Maria Ward in 1876 in West Bromwich area and in 1881 they were at 13 Providence Buildings, West Brom
John CARR Head M Male 26 Padbury, Buckingham, England Brickyard Labourer
Maria CARR Wife M Female 23 Tipton, Stafford, England Brickyard Labourer
Martha Jane CARR Daughter M Female 3 West Bromwich, Stafford, England
Ann Maria CARR Daughter Female 1 West Bromwich, Stafford, England
John Carr appears on 1901 census at Shottermill in Surrey as a "labourer in Brickfield"

Thanks Linnet
This post of yours answers a lot of questions as Maria Carr and her husband Christopher George Bull, who were my great great grandparents, left Padbury during this period and moved to West Bromwich.
I didn`t know about John Carr so he is another relative i have, so again thanks. He probably worked at the same brick kilne works in WB that George Bull and three of his children did later on.My great grandfather William Bull even met his wife, Harriett Parkes working there.
Great to hear from you.

On the 1861 Census Ann Carr is a widow
On the 1871 Census a George Carr, age 12 is living with an Ann Spatcher, born Thornborough- his status is son, born Padbury. There is also a David Spatcher, age 8, status son.
Marriage - Francis Spatcher, Dec Qtr 1862, Buckingham, 3a 874 - on the same page Ann Carr
Birth - David Spatcher, Mar Qtr 1863, Buckingham, 03a 499 - mother's maiden name Carr
-
George Carr proving elusive!
Francis Spatcher committed suicide 1867 and Ann Carr/Spatcher married Thomas Chandler/s, Sep Qtr 1872, Buckingham, 3a 844a. Banns were published Padbury, July 1872.
Ann Chandler can be found in the 1881 Census - ref RG11 1485 131 18
-
The banns for a George Carr and Harriet Percival were published August 1872, Padbury.
possibility?

FindMyPast Civil marriages have a George Carr marrying Maria White, Sep Qtr 1872, Buckingham, 3a 844.
FreeBMD marriage registrations has Thomas Heritage and George White, Sep Qtr 1872, Buckingham, 3a 844 on the same page as a Maria White - only these 3 names listed.
The 1881 Census has a Thomas Heritage with a Maria Heritage at Marsh Gibbon, Buckinghamshire - so, George Carr did not marry Maria White.

Isn't there a George Carr, born Thornborough, 1856, on the 1861 Census? Would appear to be Emma Warner's spouse - albeit quite young to marry?.
