The Hannam family lived in Clixby Manor between 1820 and its sale in about 1851. It was eventually demolished around 1961. I have been trying to locate a photo or picture of the manor without any luck can anyone help please, Thanks.

Hi Mikewh
Welcome to RootsChat,
Yes I have several pictures of Clixby Manor. From memory they date from about 1840 to 1961 when it was sold. If you do not mind me asking what was the name of your relative.
My relation was Richard Hannam who married Frances Mary Fitzwilliam in 1820. The manor was sold in 1851.
Hope this helps Steve

Hi Steve
My mother was Veronica Joan Haddelsey. We are related. Would rather not converse private details , have asked Julia to pass on my email address to you. On reflection I should post a few times and unblock my pm .
Mother told me there was a gap in the tree pre SWH, have you now fully proved link further back. If so fantastic.
My surname is Whitehouse and just starting on research. Any tips would be useful. Presume a steep learning curve. Would happily forward my research to you and details from my Mothers side .
Could transmit a self portrait of Veronica painted when she was 50 ish.
What data base do you recommend?
