Hi,
    I'm trying to find out as much Information on a ' Charles Oakley Brighton Jr ' who we believe was born in Durban in South Africa on the 17th Feb 1906. His father may be called ' Charles Oakley Brighton Sr ' as well?  I'm trying to find any entries for Births/ Marriages/ Deaths!
   I have some info,but I want info on the above people please! I'm not sure who was ' Charles Oakley Brighton Jr's  ' mother was??  after Charles Jr's Divorce from Dinah Maria, Jr married a
' Sheila C. Joshua '. Sheila was from St Helena Island!.   I'm also trying to find out what was Dinah Maria's Maiden name was ?? :) I hope  some one can help me out please with Information on the above!

Thank-you, I think I found a missing family member, I wondered who else was born from John Brighton (born in Cornwall) brother of Charles Henry Brighton and son of Oakley Brighton.

Please get back to me so we can discuss this further.

How do you know Charles Oakley Brighton? The reason I ask is because I have a Charlie Brighton in my family who was the son of John Henry Brighton. John Henry had an uncle, Charles, and a grandfather, Oakley - obviously the latter name tells me there is a link. JH Brighton born 1870 in Cornwall, emigrated to South Africa in 1891 and had 6 children of which Charlie (I am sure this is just his aka) was one of them... let me know please.... Thanks, Twain

Hi.  I realise this is very late :), but I’ve just come across this thread and am looking for information regarding Sheila Joshua who was married to Charles Oakley brighton.  Just wondered whether you are able to provide any further info about any children they may have had?
