im tryin to find any info on stephen lawrence b,1804 in rainham kent he married jane reed in 1835 in chatham,im lookin for his parents and siblings any help would be greatfull, thanks,

Have you found a baptism with no father listed?  In which case you may not be able to find out who is father was.  ???
 You could try looking for a bastardy order.

You would need to search the Medway Archives in Strood.

David Auger, whose email address in on the Rainham OPC link that I posted, may know what is available for Rainham

Is this his baptism entry?

23rd June 1804 Stephen Souter LAWRENCE son of Catherine LAWRENCE

In which case SOUTER may be his father's surname.

I see I have read this several years after your original enquiry.
So just in case you have not been able to make any further progress ...
Stephens mum Catherine was born in 1782 as per Rainham parish records which can be found on Cityark.
She had several siblings including my ancestor Thomas born 1790.
Her parents were Peter and Hannah married at Newington in 1780.
Peter born 1754 at Rainham to Thomas lawrence and Catherine Bush who married 1751 in Rainham.
Several public trees list this info on ancestry. com.
