I only have the Parish Rec. Ancestry marriage for Amelia, trying to find her on 1851
Amelia Hazzard spinster & William Baker widower druggist??. Amelia's, father Robert a lighterman. If possible I am trying to find her place of birth which may help with tracing her family.

Have you got her on a census AFTER her marriage - which will give a clue as to her approx year and place of birth.
Where/when was the marriage? Do you know of any children of the marriage?

OK - found the marriage
Ap/MAy/Jun 1846
East London 2 216
so she was married by 1851 (my mistake)
I have been looking in 1861 but cant find a William/Amelia Baker whereby he is anything like a druggist
Will look in 1851 now!

lizdb, I did reply to your post about age children etc. before I read your 2nd re YEAR.
I do not have any other info, my possible interest is through her father Robert.
I did send this post but had a message come up that it had been LOCKED, may have clicked something by mistake.
