Title: no longer receiving notification of replies

I am not receiving an email to say there are more posts on a thread I have posted on anymore.  have I changed my settings somehow?  they don't appear on the "new replies" link either.  I am worried I may miss something and not respond!

If anyone can tell me how to reset myself, I would appreciate it.   :D

A couple of other Rootschatters had this problem yesterday and it then seemed to correct itself

Just as a precaution - your email inbox doesn't need clearing out does it?  Some ISP's have a limit

I've also seen someone say that Rootschat notifications are ending up in her Spam box- so make sure they aren't there either.

Too many capitals in the topic titles has been cited as a possible cause of messages landing in the spam folder.

Hi

I had that problem.  Go to Profile at the top of the page, click on Notifications and e-mail, on the left hand side and make sure the second box

is unticked.  I usually have the box unticked, but when I checked it appeared to have become ticked.  I don't know if there was a glitch with Rootschat.

However, I am receiving notifications once more.

Ahhh thanks Lizzie!  That was it!  I always received notification of any replies so it must have been unticked before.  It was ticked just now though. 

I always check my spam everyday as sometimes "proper" emails do end up in there, so I would have seen them in there.  But thanks for all the help! :D

Beware the opposite problem now, I'm getting notifications for what seems like every new thread on Rootschat.  I had 93 yes that's ninety three, yesterday and without counting and just looking at my deleted e-mails a similar number the day  before.   ::) ::)  They are almost all New Topics, rather than replies to threads I've made a comment in.
