Could anyone please help to confirm whether or not, there is or was a Burys St in Blaenau Ffestiniog. Only I have a 1891 Census for my Gt Grandparents which I am unable to work out, but on the other list of occupants it states it as Burys St, Ffestiniog. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you for showing interest, if you check the deciphering & recognition help page, I have posted the census sheet on there to see if anyone can work it out, but if you need the sheet number it is RG12/4646 page 44.

If it's any help (as I can't make out the street name on the following page either), the page after that shows Dorvil Road and Dorvil Street. These can both be seen on Google map - so at least you can see which area of Blaenau Ffestiniog you want.

Have failed to access the relevant returns on Ancestry, owing to maintenance work, it seems, but Galium's hint about Dorvil Street and Road persuaded me that Benar Road is the best candidate - you can check on Google Maps quite easily. I think the enumerator's handwriting is the worst I've seen.
