Hi there,
           I have a Broomfield in my family tree, her name was Winifred may broomfield, born in southampton in june 1898, she went on to marry a great uncle of mine. his name was George c w hornsby, they were married in southampton injune 1923. is she one of your Broomfields????

hi, im searching broomfields in australia. my grandfathers brother was stanley walter broomfield. he died in 1968. i found hes burried at north brighton. his wife was irene olive broomfield, she died in 1985. i would like to find raymond broomfield, their son. if any one can help, i do have a large amount of broomfields from hampshire, which are my family, which i have researched over the past few years.  thanks, linda

hi phil, the broomfields we found began as brumfield in minstead hampshire about 1690. our line is aaron broomfield, who was a baker, in ealing, with 13 children, we found 11, married to mary ann rose in 1837. we believe we have most of our broomfields from hampshire, but are interested in finding family in australia. i hope to be able to contact you shortly. thanks linda
