Title: William Martin COOK - Seaman

I am looking for the date & place of birth of my great grandfather  WILLIAM MARTIN COOK  'a seaman'

I have a copy of his marriage certificate which I obtained from Malta.  It say:

William Martin Cook born England,  age 25, a Mariner, son of John Cook and Maria Martha McAuliffe,  married at Senglea 1859.  Their 3rd child was born 1865 in Malta.  Have no further info except that he did not die in Malta.
