Good afternoon, Peter Straub (born 1698) was from Rhineland Palatinate and immigrated with his wife Maria(born in 1714), to South Carolina, USA in 1764 thru London. There were over 400 immigrants that came to America. We believe they were married in 1739 in Germany. Is there any information that might be in church records of his ancestors? We believe him to be an Evangelical Lutheran. Their oldest son was Heinrick, born in 1740.
