My great grandfather William Roberts married Isabella Jamieson at Springfield Farm in 1893. They had 5 children all born around the Armadale/ Slamannan area. I am lead to believe that at some stage William and Isabella went their seperate ways. When this happened, I don't know but on Isabella's death certificate 1925 it states married to William Roberts Coalminer. So I don't know if they were still together then.
I am looking for a record of death for William Roberts. Born 10-2-1868 Bathgate, Father John Roberts,
Mother Helen Marshall. I am not even sure if he was still in the same county.
I am hoping someone can assist me. Regards David

I'm very new to this but noticed your message. My gt grandfather James Roberts is the brother of John married to Helen Marshall and I've done some research on John's family. John's son William remarried in 1927 Grace Lowe and died in June 1945 at Methilhill, Wemyss. The death informant was his step son. If you need further info let me know and I will help if I can.
