I am looking for any record or information on Robert Taylor some records have Robert McIntaylor, born 10 April 1768 at Braencer, Kingarth, Bute. He married Flora MacFie born 1758. Married at Rothesay, 2 March 1790.
Records at the marriage of his son Alexander to Grizel McConnechy / Grace Duncan said he was a seaman in 1815
I have no records or family information regarding his death. Alexander, his wife and family and Flora, Robert's wife left Scotland to go to Canada in 1822.
I would like to find some reference to a date of death and would appreciate any help.
