is there anywhere on this site or anywhere else that i can look for information on my ancestors on the isle of barra and the uists ?

North Uist - have a look at http://boards.ancestry.com/localities.britisles.scotland.westernisles/1534/mb.ashx

South Uist - try googling "South Uist genealogy" - there is no central site

Barra - No links (or at least I haven't found any yet)

Or better yet post your enquiry in the appropriate board here   (Inverness) - someone may know an answer.
