Hi,
I am doing a one name studyof the Rossiter family and am looking for information please about the parents, grandparents, siblings and children of Sophia Rossiter born circa 1831 in the Frome area, d/o William Rossiter.
She married John White on 25th December 1858 at Holy Trinity, Frome.
Any information would be greatly appreciated please. TIA.

Transcribed as Rosseter, but on census they are Rossiter

I think thats Jane Emma 18 not Jane Louisa and Ann was born Wanstrow

If the christening of Sophia's sister Matilda is the right one the parents are William Rossiter and Ann Elliot or Elliott

Maria born 14 September 1827 and christened 1 December 1827.
Presumably a sibling that died if the younger Maria A (born circa 1840) is anything to go by.

so William Rossiter died between 1861 and 1871.....
Edit: possible death registration July-Aug-Sept 1869, Frome District, aged 72.
