Title: Help reading entry on a convict record, please
Post by: PrueM on Wednesday 15 September 10 01:17 BST (UK)
Hi all,
If you would be so kind, please have a look at the clip that JM has posted here:
http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,482777.msg3414289.html#msg3414289
and see if you can make out what the words say just prior to "1824 New Zealand".
Based on other examples of this kind of document (it's a muster, or "mini census") it could be the name of a previous employer, or it could be some other comment about the whereabouts or activities of the person.

Cheers
