Title: look up Birth SHOTTS

I am trying to find Birth of Henry Robertson King born Shotts Lanarkshire around 1884-86.
I am looking for his Parents he was staying with an aunt in 1891 Census,who was Annie King nee Pattison.
Also would like to find  Annie's birth born Paisley Renfrewshire about 1850.
Have looked at Scotlands People but not much luck.

Hi Ali

You could try the 1881 census on CD (full UK inc Scotland) rather than online (as only Eng and Wales) to see if Henry was with his Aunt, and do a general search in Lanarkshire for Robertsons.  If you find parents and they are trades people then the trade directories may help but if miners they moved around a lot.  Hope this helps.
