Hi,
Can anyone tell me where I would look for burials and headstones in Wellington from about 1821-1900?
I am thinking Christ Church and All Saints, are there any headstones there or can you point me in the direction of a cemetery and are there any records to be found on-line?
Thankyou,
Ann

If you have a look at the familysearch.org pilot site there are 29 pages of burials in Wellington
http://pilot.familysearch.org/recordsearch/start.html wait for it to load, click on search/browse etc then Europe, then England Deaths & Burials . hope you find what you are looking for.

Ann, I know this is an old post, but if you are still interested, I can tell you that both Christchurch and All Saints have headstones, though not in their original positions - they have been sited around the outskirts of the churchyards.
If you need a grave photographing in Wellington, please let me know - both these churches and the cemetery are easy walking distance from me, Jacky

Hi there Jacky - this post is quite old but I was wondering if you were still in the Wellington area? I am trying to find out more information about my ancestor George Shelley (1681-1729) who is buried at All Saints Church in Wellington, Shropshire.
Best, Faye
